This event was established in 2014. In 10 years, we have hosted 7 amazing events, supported at least 4 charity organizations, and we have already begun planning our 8th event for September 13th, 2025, in Toronto, Ontario.

Each event we host, we select a local charity to raise money for with our silent auction and other projects, such as the Ignite Charity Anthology (still available on Amazon, but not for long!). In the past, we have raised proceeds for Wounded Warriors Canada, Alzheimer Society, National Service Dogs, and SickKids Foundation. 

With hosting an event this long, we've adapted and overcome so much! With your never-ending support and the additions to our Ignite Team, the event continues to grow. One of the things that remains constant is our intention to keep growing, which allows us to offer more to our book community and local charities. In order to continue to meet our goals, we decided to officially register as a non-profit business in Ontario! With this great opportunity, we are also announcing our NEW registered name: Ignited By Books Author Event!

This name change comes in part because Ignite Your Soul has recently been trademarked, but we believe that we are truly Ignited By Books in this community, which is what brought us together and started our Ignite family in 2014.
